Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake this last weekend with my parents, Karin, Sayuri, Trevor & Emily. It was really hot the first day we were there so we went bike riding, played tennis, and went swimming. Sunday was a little chilly with rain. We went to the beach and let Kayli run around. The water wasn't even that cold. Everyone said 'bye' to Sayuri and Karin. Sayuri has gone home to Tokyo now and Karin will be going to live with Shandee and Will in Wisconsin for a couple months. It was a fun trip. Thanks to my parents for the fun trip!! We love having a cabin to go to a couple times of the year. We missed Shandee, Will and Shay and can't wait to see them in August.

Memorial Day...Visitors again

Brandon's parents came up again, but they brought the whole family with them this time. We went to Idaho Falls Zoo and played frisbee golf at the park. It was fun to have everyone come visit. It's been like a nonstop vacation for me and Kayli to have everyone here. Thanks everyone for coming!

2nd Weekend...My parents came to visit

So this last weekend my parents came up with the foreign exchange student that is living with them, Sayuri. This time instead of walking around the river, we all rode are bikes, it was alot easier and faster. We also went to Bear World with them. This was a pretty cool park. You drove through an area where there were deer, elk, mountain goats, and then the bears. They were all just wandering around and you drove right through it. They had some amusement rides there also. They weren't Lagoon style, because if they were Kayli wouldn't have been able to go on them. We had a fun time with them.

First Week in Idaho...visit from Brandon's Parents

The first weekend we were here in Idaho Brandon's parents surprised us with a visit. We had the key to the house but our stuff was still in storage. We walked around the falls, fed the ducks and found out it was 3 miles around the temple part. Ron kept asking if we should turn around cuz he was tired.

Homeless

We kind of got ourselves into a mess with this whole moving thing. We told our landlord when Brandon was to start working in Idaho and didn't tell him we'd pay for an extra month. He found someone to rent the apartment so we had to get our stuff moved out on the 1st of May. So we luckily found a moving company that could do it so soon because we got a weeks notice to move out. Brandon's company gave him a moving allowance which was totally awesome so for our 4th time moving I didn't have to pack up all our stuff. I loved just watching. I think our family was greatful for that also since they've helped us load and unload our stuff everytime. Anyway so here's what happened over the last week...

I stayed at my mom's house with Kayli while Brandon went to work in Idaho and stayed in a hotel there. Here's Karin playing with Kayli in the backyard.

Brandon called to talk to us every night while he was away. Kayli loves her daddy and just the sound of his voice as you can see by the look on her face when he talks on the phone to her.

I graduated from the LPN program during the week. Brandon totally surprised me with flowers delivered that morning and then to show up at my graduation....what a sweetie. He definitely surprised me. He drove back to Idaho Friday morning to work for the day and came back that night. My parents and Karin came to support me as well. They took us to get pie afterwards, they are awesome parents. My graduation went great and I'm so excited to be done with my 1st year of nursing!

Me and the class were all disappointed we had to wear our scrubs to graduation. I mean c'mon isn't it supposed to be more formal than that?!

We stayed at Brandon's parents over the weekend. Kayli got worn out from so much playing. She definitely needed her alone time. The first picture is to show her bum. I thought it was so cute cuz we were drawing on the cement with chalk. I drew a rainbow and she went and sat right on it and got the image on her bum.

Here is Brandon with his dad digging up all the sprinklers. That was alot of work for the both of them!

And so now we're living in a hotel room with our stuff all stored by the moving company. If you are wondering... yes I am going crazy with an 18 month old in such limited space. There is a pool, but of course it's too cold for her to enjoy it. It hasn't really been the warmest outside either, really windy. But that's what everyone says about Idaho Falls is... It's ALWAYS WINDY. So more pictures to come on our new house!! We closed on it today and are so excited to be in there!! Thanks for both families for letting us take your space and food. We've enjoyed spending time with all of you and hope you come visit soon!

Happy Anniversary!

To celebrate 3 years we decided to go to Lava Hot Springs. It was rainy the whole time but it actually turned out nice since the hot pools get too hot. It was fun to sit in the rain but still be warm. We stayed at Lion's Gate Manor. It's a huge mansion that a family lives in and rent out their themed rooms. It's only a few years old and it's really nice. I would recommend this place to everyone and stay in the 'Phantom' room. Even though the picture on the website looks scary, you can turn off the phantom in the mirror. We stayed in the Persian Suite. It had an awesome jacuzzi.
