5th Anniversary

MAY 18, OUR ANNIVERSARY DAY

I MADE A 5 COURSE MEAL AND KAYLI HELPED PREPARE IT AND DECORATE FOR IT. SHE WAS SO EXCITED TO DRESS UP AND WAIT FOR DADDY TO COME HOME!

THEN I PLANNED A 5 DAY VACATION FOR US TO COLORADO.

DAY 1: ARRIVED AT DENVER AIRPORT AT 1230 PM, AND IT WAS FREEZING COLD, WINDY AND RAINY AT ABOUT36 DEGREES...WE WERE STARTING TO WORRY!

WE MADE A STOP AT THE AQUARIUM TO EAT LUNCH AND SEE ALL THE AWESOME FISH, SHARKS AND TURTLES.

I HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE CUTE LITTLE FROGS FOR KAYLI

OUR NEXT ADVENTURE THAT DAY WAS TO GO SEE AN IMAX MOVIE...WELL THE ONE WE WANTED TO SEE WASN'T PLAYING ANYMORE FOR THE DAY SO WE WENT AND SAW ONE ON MT EVEREST, WELL I FELL ASLEEP CUZ I FELT LIKE I WAS WATCHING THE HISTORY CHANNEL AND THEN HALFWAY THROUGH THE MOVIE THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF....NICE! OH WELL, WE JUSTLEFT ON OUR WAY TO OUR HOTEL IN MANITOU SPRINGS, CO.

DAY 2: ROYAL GORGE BRIDGE, CANON CITY, CO

WE RODE ON THIS...

AND ALSO ON THIS OUTSIDE ELEVATOR

AWESOME ROAD IN CANON CITY, CO ON THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN WITH CLIFFS ON BOTH SIDES...BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

DAY 3: INDIAN CLIFF DWELLINGS, MANITOU SPRINGS, CO

7 FALLS COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

DAY 4: GARDEN OF THE GODS, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

WE RENTED BIKES AND RODE AROUND WHERE WE COULD AND HIKED AROUND OTHER AREAS.

DINNER AT BUBBA GUMPS, DENVER, CO

DAY 5: FLIGHT HOME AT 715 IN THE MORNING...OH WAIT WE MISSED THAT FLIGHT AND JUMPED ON THE NEXT ONE AT 820!! NOTE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO TRAVEL FROM DENVER AIRPORT, YOU MUST ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT 1 1/2 BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT!

IT WAS AN AWESOME ANNIVERSARY TRIP AND I AM SO GREATFUL TO HAVE BRANDON! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND TRULY AM BLESSED TO HAVE HIM FOR ETERNITY! THANKS TO MY PARENTS AND STURDEVANTS FOR HAVING KAYLI! WE COULDN'T HAVE CELEBRATED WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

Happy Mothers Day

I had a great mothers day!! Kayli picked out the present herself... a mommy and daughter doll set! How cute! Brandon got me a massage package that I am excited to use. I am so glad I am a mom and am also greatful for the moms around me that are such good examples and role models. I hope to be a better mom everyday!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!! We did all our easter festivities on Friday and Saturday. Kayli was a little bit better this year with the egg hunting thing. Kayli's favorite prize from the easter bunny was her little wind-up hopping bunny. We made delicious sugar cookies! On Saturday we went to the traditional Sturdevant Easter egg hunt and lunch with the cousins. Guess who showed up here!? Kayli was extremely excited to see the easter bunny and was jumping up and down herself! I wish I could have got it on video. On Sunday we relaxed and went to church to listen to testimonies and talks on Christ, and remembered Him. We had a fun easter!

Family

So glad I can take my own family pictures whenever I want and for free! :) Haha well I guess it wasn't free. Brandon absolutely loved getting them taken. I'm so glad I'll finally have new pictures to hang in our living room.

Happy Valentines Day!

So this year for Valentines me and Kayli went to Brandon's work and 'heart attacked' his car. Kayli loved sticking hearts all over the car and blowing up red balloons. Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of it. :( I have pictures of me and kayli though... I took v-day pics of her to give to brandon in a frame and Kayli took some of me to put in a frame as well. Kayli is quite the photographer I'll have to admit. :)




We spent the evening playing Wii and singing love songs with the guitar. :D

Spending time with family

Some of these pictures are from December but I never got around to posting them. So this winter we've not been doing too much...just spending some time with family. This last weekend we were up in Bear Lake with my family...
